Aesthetic Medicine is understood as a branch of 'specialized' type of traditional medicine, aimed at the prevention and medical treatment of imperfections and dysmorphism and the causes that have produced them, the pursuit of the psycho-physical well-being of the individual, the prevention and treatment of aging in all age groups, not only as an aesthetic phenomenon, but as a prevention of all those pathologies related to it

 

O.M.S (World Health Organization) states that any medical act must never be separated from the concept of psycho-physical well-being that must be guaranteed to all peoples and throughout the world
