It's an important international milestone achieved by Agorà regarding publications in accredited scientific journals with the launch of the International Aesthetic & Regenerative Medicine Hub in collaboration with PeerJ (Impact Factor 2.7, Citescore 5.1) from the Taylor & Francis publishing group, an excellent and international leader with over 2,500 scientific journals worldwide.
We are excited to announce a new partnership with PeerJ, a part of the international Taylor & Francis Group, to develop and launch an Aesthetic & Regenerative Medicine Hub.
The Hub will serve as a dynamic platform for researchers and professionals in the growing field of aesthetic and regenerative medicine. Through this partnership, physicians, clinicians, and researchers in Aesthetic Medicine and related branches, as well as Regenerative Medicine, will have the opportunity to access a dedicated channel to disseminate the results of their research, promoting greater visibility and engagement within their community.
The members of Agorà will also benefit from publication discounts and will have the opportunity to access financial support from the Society.
Claudio Plebani, General Secretary of Agorà, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "This partnership represents a fundamental opportunity to improve the impact of our community's research. By leveraging PeerJ's robust publishing infrastructure, we aim to facilitate greater accessibility to high-quality, Open Access publication in the fields of Aesthetic Medicine and Regenerative Medicine. Our national and international collaborators are excited about this new initiative."
Nathaniel Gore, Director of Communities at PeerJ, stated, "We are proud to collaborate with Agorà in establishing the Aesthetic & Regenerative Medicine Hub. This platform underscores our commitment to supporting community-driven initiatives that promote Open Access and collaboration within specialized fields."
The Hub will be launched in the second quarter of 2024 and will immediately accept pre-submission inquiries that will be reviewed by a Hub Editorial Team composed of experienced researchers and clinicians who are members of the Society. Approved pre-submissions will be submitted to PeerJ Life & Environment. The Hub will be officially presented to the public at the 2024 International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine in Milan.
"We are excited to launch the Hub and to welcome researchers and professionals in aesthetic and regenerative medicine to our community and contribute to the vibrant exchange of knowledge," commented Francesca Arrigoni, a member of the Hub Editorial Team.
Managed collaboratively by PeerJ and members of Agorà, the Hub will become an important destination and reference point for the aesthetic and regenerative medicine community.
